DSS (Data Scripting Solutions) was born out of the gap in the market around Medical device connectivity with serial communication needs.

In today’s day and age we still have thousands of medical devices still not connected to hospital EPR (electrical patient record) systems which causes friction between data collection and clinical need.

With this in mind DSS strides to provide IT solutions to support clinical data capturing from Terminal servers at the bedside and the unique individual cable requirements for serial communication.

Since DSS started we have noticed that more and more serial connections have unique cable needs for the correct data flow, so to ease this we have created a matrix for all cable requirements from length, colour and easy identification for clinical staff to have a “plug and play” solutions.

At this time we can produce cables for a range of terminal servers:

• Lantronix

• DIGI

• CCE box (Cerner)

Our main driven goal at this time is going to be our release of our very own terminal server “DSecure”. Watch this space for January 2024 when we will officially have our terminal server available to the market for purchase from trusted partners or directly from our site.
